ORTOM HAS NOT DIVERTED VEHICLE FUNDS Our attention has been drawn to a report being circulated on the social media by a well known sponsored mercenary outfit owned by one Aare Abiodun Oluwarotimi that Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, diverted part of funds meant for the purchase of official vehicles. The general public might wish to be reminded that the vehicles being referred to were bought at the inception of the administration in 2015 and that their purchase was made public. With the subsequent escalation of the exchange rate the purchase of the vehicles at that time indicated the foresight of the Governor and his administration which would have paid almost double or more the price for the necessity if the purchase was made later.
